Project Acceptance

These terms and conditions help ensure I can meet client expectations effectively. Please read them thoroughly before accepting an estimate to avoid any confusion regarding your project.

1. Scope of Work

Estimates are based on the initial project brief and specifications provided by the client. If there are any changes to the scope, such as additional pages in a document or revised design requirements, the estimate may be adjusted accordingly.

Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued.

2. Approval Process

The client must provide written approval for all completed design work. This approval confirms that the work is finalised and requires no further changes. For larger projects, approvals may be required at key stages of development.

3. Revisions & Changes

Content provided at the start of the project is considered final. Any revisions, updates, or additional content requested after the project has commenced may incur additional charges at the applicable hourly rate.

4. Content Submission

To ensure a high-quality outcome, content should be provided in the following digital formats. Additional charges may apply if materials are not supplied as required:

  • Text/Tables/Copy – Microsoft Word or Excel (correct order)

  • Images – High-resolution (300dpi TIFF/JPEG)

  • Logos – Vector format (Illustrator EPS/AI)

  • Diagrams & Maps – Vector format (Illustrator EPS/AI)

5. Payment Terms

Invoices are issued upon project completion and are payable within seven (7) days unless a prior arrangement has been made.

  • Accounts unpaid after seven (7) days will be considered in default and will incur a 5% service charge per month on the outstanding amount.

  • In the event of non-payment, McKenzie Concepts reserves the right to take further action for collection. Any costs incurred, including legal fees or debt collection agency charges, will be the client’s responsibility.

6. Confidentiality

McKenzie Concepts will take all reasonable measures to protect client confidentiality.

7. Additional Costs

Variable project components may incur additional costs, which will be outlined in the estimate.

8. Copyright & Ownership

Ownership of all final design work remains with McKenzie Concepts until full payment is received. If multiple design concepts are presented, the client only has rights to the chosen option. Any remaining concepts remain the property of McKenzie Concepts.

Clients are responsible for ensuring they have legal rights to all materials provided for their project and agree to indemnify McKenzie Concepts against any copyright claims.

9. Deposits

A 60% deposit may be required before starting a project. The remaining 40% is payable upon project completion or delivery of final assets.

10. Acceptance of Estimate

To proceed with your project, please confirm acceptance by emailing approval to michelle@mckenzieconcepts.com.au. Written approval is required before any work begins.
